Some things change, and …..

well, some things stay the same! Last week Ultracomms was proud to be a sponsor at this year’s Engage: Future of the Contact Centre Conference in London. It was our first Engage event, and we’re certainly looking forward to the next one. As a sponsor, we were delighted to host a roundtable discussion on one of the industry’s hottest topics, PCI DSS, and were not surprised to find many people asking the same questions about how to achieve PCI compliance in their organisation.

Whilst these questions are familiar to us as a PCIO DSS level 1 certified service provider, we’re only too happy to help those less acquainted with the complex PCI compliance landscape. We also find that we are increasingly being asked about the impacts of the forthcoming legislative changes around GDPR which is refreshing to hear. Refreshing because it means all of us involved in contact centres are consciously thinking about operating in a secure and compliant environment. We’ve always taken these topics seriously and it’s great to know that our clients do too!

All in all, the Future of the Contact Centre Conference event was a superb opportunity to explore all that’s new and innovative in our industry with some compelling presentations and conversations. We’ve definitely marked it in our calendar for next year.
